• The Sydney PC User Group
This is an independent club of users discussing all aspects of using personal computers and helping each other solve computer problems. It also has several Special Interest Groups or SIGs.

• Web-site
For all the latest Club, Meeting and SIG information, go to the Sydney PCUG web-site. It is a totally new-look site after initial design by the President, Warren Wyllie, and set up by yours truly as a demonstration site with the aid of NetObjects Fusion. It is now under the control of the SPCUG Webmaster, Stephen South.

• Location
All meetings are held on the first floor of the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts building, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney, except for the Penrith SIG, which meets at St. Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue St. Clair. The Pitt Street venue is on the eastern side of the street, between Park and Bathurst Streets, next to MapWorld.

• Lift Access
Do not arrive too early for the meetings, since the lift allows access to the first floor no more than 30 minutes beforehand.

• Charges
For first time visitors, there is no charge. Individual membership subscription is $45 per year and a meeting charge of $5 is then made. For unfinancial members (or visitors on their second or later visits) the meeting cost is $10.

• Details
For the SIG leader's name and contact details, the topics covered and the group's web-site (if any), see the PCUG SIG page. For the current week's meetings, go to the Yahoo! calendar.
