How to add images to your text You are editing your masterpiece article and suddenly you need an image from your PC. How do you upload it? And where does it go (so you know the URL for the link)? Very easy... after you find out how...
Image already on the server The way to insert an image is to first click on the image button at the bottom of the edit window. If the image you want is visible at the top of this new window, click on it. Then select and copy the URL field for later. Now close this window and select the insertion point in the text for the image and click on the image icon in the edit bar above (that's the little tree picture). Paste in the URL and complete any other fields such as description and title as required. Image not yet on the server If, however, the image is not located, move to the Upload section and click on Browse Files to find the image on your PC. Enable thumbnails to display and locate the desired image more easily. Click on Start Upload to copy it to the server (notice the image appear in the top of the display box) and then finally add it to the web-page as above. No need for FTP or Admin powers Authors are therefore able to upload images whenever needed in their articles, without help from any IT staff.
