Tuesday Group - Tuesday 21st Feb - 9:30 am - 12 noon

Tim Kelly has a bit of material left over from the last Tuesday presentation which he can talk about.

It is primarily a look at some "interesting" free Windows apps.


Family History - Tuesday 21st Feb - 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Terry Eakin reports: Next week I'll be covering 'Free UK Genealogy' a topic I will learn a lot about over the next few days. The three web addresses provide free access worldwide to UK family history records.

These three sites are under an umbrella site www.freeukgenealogy.org.uk .

This site works with volunteers to provide transcriptions of UK records which are made available to about 40,000 family history researchers daily.

I'm sure you will find the session on Tuesday very interesting. I look forward to seeing you there.

Roger Foulds will choose some of the review items from the latest Digital Photography Review (https://www.dpreview.com/).

ASCCA's free Seniors Festival event for 2017

This year we are talking about all the ways we can communicate in the digital world, especially with that little computer-in-your-hand - the smartphone.
Learn more about email and all those message and social apps that everyone seems to be talking about. You may not want to use them all, but it's worth being in the know.

It's on March 9 from 9.30am to 12.00 noon at the Mitchell Theatre, Level 1, 280 Pitt St Sydney.
Bookings are essential as there are only 110 places
