Thank you so much for being a loyal member of the Sydney PC User Group!

Our Treasurer, Josephine Wiseman, has some important information about the AGM part of our main meeting in this email, please take note that there is no $5 fee this month and please do attend, as we need your support and your vote on a range of important issues that will define our group going forward.

As for our main meeting, we have a fantastic guest as per usual!!

Please remember that the AGM will be held during the Main Meeting on Tuesday 28 February. This is an important meeting which will consider matters such as changes to the Constitution, change of name of the Group, election of Office Bearers and Committee members, and some changes in the running of the Group.

Members' views on all these matters will assist the Committee in efficient management of the Group until the next general meeting.

Please print out your copy of the Agenda and bring it with you so that you can follow the proceedings.

There will be no $5 charge as the Executive has decided that it is inappropriate to charge for attendance at the AGM.

Josephine Wiseman

Acting Secretary

MAIN Meeting - Tuesday 28th Feb - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Our special guest this month is Mark Gorrie, Director of Symantec's Norton Business Unit, who has presented to us before in 2015 - it will be great to welcome Mark back!

Mark's presentation will start at 7.15pm, after the break that follows our AGM.

Mark will showcase Symantec's latest Norton range, including Norton Security and Norton Wi-Fi Privacy, two products essential for protecting your digital life, on traditional PCs and Macs and today's smartphone and tablet mobile devices.

We'll learn about the latest cybersecurity threats and the ways that Norton Security and Norton Wi-Fi Privacy work to keep us and our valuable data safe.

Raffle prizes are yet to be determined - there may be a surprise in store for every attendee, so if you needed an extra reason to come along, you've got it!

So, not only do we have the important AGM this month, but a very timely presentation from Symantec you won't want to miss!

See you next Tuesday night,
