Workshops by Apple for ASCCA Trainers
Apple has been recently been talking to us about the features of iPad and iPhone for seniors, especially the accessibility and voice interaction features and how they could make a difference in people's lives.
The staff at Apple's Accessibility & Lifelong Learning group have offered to run three connected workshops in Sydney especially for ASCCA trainers who teach (or want to teach) iPhone or iPad. They are free and are in May and June 2017. Participants would bring their iPhone or iPad, but there is also an offer to loan devices.
As these are practical sessions, there are only 15 spaces for club trainers available. Clubs can only nominate one person for the course in the first round. If we are then left with spaces, we will contact the clubs who have responded to ask if they have an additional interested trainer.
