Sydney Harbour
WEEKLY NEWSLETTER 4 - 9 JUNE 2018

Hello and Welcome,

Meetings This Week:

Friday Forum - Friday Jun 8th - 9:30 am - 12 noon

Some topics from Josephine Wiseman:

I will mention my experience with the April Upgrade 1803, helped by John Symonds and yourself (Ed.) (loss of network). An additional problem was loss of touch screen on my laptop.

I have a couple of topics from BIT:

  • Gmail vs Outlook

  • Tips for using OneDrive

  • Google Drive vs Microsoft OneDrive

From Gizmodo:

  • Review of Win 10 April Update, perhaps already sufficiently covered

I also have a few questions about Google Photos such as where are the photos stored and how secure are they?

My Pixel takes good photos which can be easily optimised, however I just want to store them on my system, not the Cloud.

Regards

Josephine

ASCCA News:

ASCCA Pitt St Sydney Courses
June July August 2018

Our courses for the next three months have now been released. This year we are updating our course program every month. You will see that this mail out has removed the courses that have been completed and added a new month of courses. While this means that two thirds of the program is repeated from the last mail out, we have been told by students that they like the reminder of what is on at ASCCA.

Click here to read or download the course program in PDF format.

Some people have reported that the above link does not work for them. If so, try this one: http://www.ascca.org.au/index.php/current-ascca-courses.
