Tech News:

Find the time since Windows last booted:

At the CMD prompt, run net statistics server (or workstation) and see an output line similar to Statistics since Thu 22/11 Nov/2018 6:11:39 pm. That is the last boot time.

The format matches that from the date and time on your taskbar, so your output may vary.

If you subtract this time from the current time, you'll get the uptime.

Here is the output I get:

>uptime

Boot: Thu, 2018/11/22 18:11:39
Now: Sat,  2018/11/24 15:12:56

Uptime: 1 day, 21 hours, 1 minute and 17 seconds.

One method of showing the dynamic uptime is to go to Task Manager | Performance. It displays Uptime dd:hh:mm:ss continuously updating, but not the actual boot time.

Ed.
