Hello and Welcome,

Tuesday, August 25th 2020 Main Meeting Details — 6 pm Meeting Start:

We will be running this meeting using Zoom; details below:

AUGUST MAIN MEETING - 6 pm Tuesday 25 August 2020

Our special guest is Ron Eo, Acronis Global Head of Curriculum Management & Training.

Apologies for the late notice. Here's the meeting invite to start, and directly after, details of the presentation.

Join Zoom Meeting:

Time: Aug 25, 2020, 06:00 pm Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney

Meeting ID: 878 4709 7303

Passcode: 692584

Billed as "True cyber protection", Acronis says its new True Image 2021 is the only solution that "combines backup and anti-malware together to protect you from today's threats — from accidents to failures to attacks."

Acronis True Image 2021 delivers the first integrated cyber protection solution that combines backup and cyber security — more than antivirus, ransomware protection, anti-malware, Zoom and video-conferencing protection, backups and definitely way more than just rock-solid local and cloud-based backup, universal restore and complete computer to cloud cloning.

Separate solutions can no longer help against modern cyberthreats. We'll learn how True Image 2021 will keep you, your data and your digital life as safe, backed up and as secure as possible, and we'll have a live demo of the software in action, so we can see how easily it all works.

The Premium single-user 1TB one-year subscription is $99.99 per year, with two cheaper options, although Premium has the lot.

Then there's a version with a three-user license for $149.99 per year, while the five-user license sharing 1TB of data is just $9 more at $159.

Acronis is very generously providing us with three copies of Acronis True Image 2021 Premium five-user license version sharing 1TB, valued at $159 per year each, for the raffle!

Acronis is also generously providing two more copies of the Premium five-user license version, as one for the prizes for September's raffle and one for October, which is fantastic.

We'll start the meeting at 6 pm and expect to hear from Ron Eo starting at about 6.05 pm, so please be on time — we're going to have fun!

The presentation is approximately 30-40 mins, and there will be time for Acronis Q&A after that for 10 to 20 mins. I'll also have some interesting news to share, and we'll have time to take a couple of Q&A questions for the general Q&A session at the end if required.

As noted above, our special guest is Ron Eo, Acronis Global Head of Curriculum Management & Training.

Ron is a passionate people developer with over 12 years of training management, development and delivery experience in IT and training industries — with expertise in creating and driving training initiatives to meet strategic business goals. Having worked with Acronis for almost a decade, Ron first started as a Training Manager in APJ — now serving as the company's Global Head of Curriculum Management & Training.

Working at Acronis, Singapore's most recent unicorn company rated over 1 billion US dollars, Ron and his team protect more than 500,000 business customers and 5,000,000 users every day. Founded in 2003 in Singapore, with dual headquarters in Singapore & Switzerland, Acronis now operates in over 150 countries with 30+ offices worldwide. Enhanced by AI technologies and blockchain-based data authentication, Acronis protects all data, applications and systems, in any environment, including physical, virtual, cloud and mobile.

So, see you on Tuesday night at 6 pm, have your favourite beverage and some snacks at the ready and enjoy a great presentation on the most up to date backup, security and active protection suite currently available!
