Sydney Harbour
WEEKLY NEWSLETTER 26 - 31 JULY 2021

Hello and Welcome,

July Main Meeting Details

Sydney PC and Technology User Group Main Meeting - Tuesday 27 July 6 pm

On Tuesday night, from 6 pm to 7.45 pm, we'll take a tour of Windows 11, which I'm running the developer beta of on a Samsung Galaxy 12 Tablet computer, and I'll show you how it looks. I'll be running the Zoom session from the Win 11 computer, so let's hope it doesn't crash, as it is a developer beta! :-)

We'll also take a peek at Intel's 12th-gen Core i-Series processors due later this year with new computers loaded with Windows 11, a study on whether using third party ink in inkjet printers is worth it, changes expected to the iPhone 13, why right-to-repair laws could see counterfeit parts installed, a warning on downloading pirate copies of Windows 11 and more.

We'll have the usual Q&A, and we'll also have a prize — a copy of Acronis True Image 2021 with 1TB of cloud storage that you can install onto 5 PCs or Macs, as well as backing up your smartphones and tablets.
